Fear, Faith and a Fistful of Chocolates by Debora Coty

Debora has some great chapters within this book. Just to give you an idea of some of them, here are a few of them:

Internal Fears: Refusing to water the wallflower (exposing fear)

Vultures Circling my Roof: Humiliation

Look , Sure, but Don’t forget to leap (taking risks)

As a woman who has struggled with fear most of my life, I especially enjoyed the breakdown of different types of fears such as spurting fear, savory fear, and satuurating fear. Debora breakdowns the different types of fears into small tidbits which make it easier to understand. Using her quick wit and humor, Debora makes the book easily readable as well as relateable to all readers. Debora has a powerful quote in the book that sums up my thoughts on fear. She says ” Papa God gave us the emotion of fear for good reason. It serves a useful purpose- to motivate us, move us forward, and keep us from making mistakes. Sometimes fear saves us from ourselves.” I loved this quote because it certainly sums up fear and the power for good from it but Debora also discusses the downfalls of fear as well. I would recommend this book to anyone that has struggled with fear because it is an easy read with some great information within. Recommend and give it 5 stars…*****
