Out of Your Comfort Zone

bench comfort zone

Our lives are often lived in a place of comfort, yet God doesn’t want us to become complacent.

We are called to LIVE BIG..

We are called to DREAM BIG..

We are called to LOVE BIG..

Our comfort zones are an easy place to stay because we know what to expect and we don’t have to worry about the unexpected..

Life is easy in the comfort zone.

Believe me; I know. I lived there for many, many years. I hated change. I hated when things did not go the way I expected or wanted.

Over the last year; life has changed dramatically.

I have been set free…
Literally, set free
from
Anxiety
Agoraphobia
Worry
Fear

So with freedom comes a new place in life in many other areas as well.

New job
New promotion at my new job
Our family business is growing by leaps and bounds
New puppy
New friends
Lots of new happiness.

Isn’t that amazing?

I think about where I was this time last year and the place I am in today; two totally different places.

God certainly has called me to a new place; OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE

Last year, I attended a women’s conference where much of my healing began. From that point to today it has been exactly a year of freedom. The journey has not always been easy or free from things from the past, but I have chosen to keep moving forward all the while putting one foot in front of the other. There are certainly days where the enemy tries to stumble me up, but I will not give him a foothold..

The past is exactly that: The past.

Today, I am thankful for:

The lessons learned; good and bad
The love I have found and lost;

God has a plan for me but He also has a plan for you.

Don’t let the enemy keep you bound to fear, anxiety, agoraphobia or anything from your past. The past has no power over you.

Because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
1 John 4:4

Stand Strong
and
Enjoy the Journey

I WIN…
Praying for you today.
Reach for the stars and never settle for a life that is less than all God has for you.

  2. Angie – You are so right. God often calls me out of my comfort zone too. But there, I must lean on him more. Great post!
